About Prisme Africa

Prisme Africa is an aggregator built for African news. It clusters multi-source stories, draws two coverage bars (Origin and Tone), and flags Blindspots when a desk type is missing. It is not a newspaper of record and it is not a US/EU Left-Right widget. The Daily Briefing indexes the 13 group mastheads. Independent wires are not in this window yet.

The two axes

Origin asks where the outlet sits: local to the country in the story, pan-African, or international. Tone asks how this article leads: critical, neutral, or supportive. Tone is not a permanent brand on the masthead. The same newspaper can be critical on Monday and supportive on Tuesday.

Owned disclosure

The publishing group owns country mastheads and AfriVolt. They are listed on Transparency. When they appear in a cluster, the source row shows a Prisme group chip. They are not hidden and they are not auto-sorted to the top. Critics stay in the cluster.

What this site is for

The site ships the Daily Briefing, story pages, Blindspot, Transparency, Partners, and AEO files (llms.txt, robots, sitemap, RSS, JSON-LD). Contact: hello@prismeafrica.com.

Language

English is the default UI. A French prefix at /fr is planned. Same clusters, translated chrome and summaries.
